The RHS is the UK’s leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting gardening.

British Association of Landscape Industries

The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) was established in 1972 to provide a voice for landscapers and, most importantly, to raise standards throughout the industry.

The Flowers & Plants Association was formed in 1984.
They are the UK's promotional organisation for all commercially grown cut flowers and indoor plants.

They carry out generic promotion - that is, they do not advertise brand names. They are an unbiased, non-commercial source of expert advice. They represent the whole floriculture industry and work on behalf of their members, who voluntarily fund the promotions they do.

Gardening Charities
   

The Greenfingers Appeal is the charity of the gardening industry and is currently dedicated to the creation and improvement of the gardens at UK Children's Hospices.

The Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund seeks to raise awareness of this killer disease; far too little is known about malignant melanoma which is one of the most rapidly increasing forms of cancer in the world.

It aims to be the first port of call in times of need for any person who is working in, is retired from or who has worked in one or more of the various arms of the industry.
